I miss back when….

I know he’s only 8, but I sure do miss these days….

Everyone is pregnant around here… I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy and extremely maternal… my ovaries are alive, and screaming to procreate!!!

And, I’m sure it has something to do with the fact that I’m turning 35 29 at the end of this month…

engagement & Easter

My sister asked me to take some pictures of her and her fiance. It really made me feel good… I love taking pictures, and knowing she appreciates what I love to do makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I know there is always room for improvement, but I’m pleased with the outcome of these… The  photo below  is on their wedding invitations :) He proposed to her last Easter, they are getting married this June.

My aunt and my cousin asked me to take pictures of my cousin and her children Easter Sunday…I was hoping to get better shots of them but, wow… they were all over the place and it proved to be quite difficult… I’m just glad there were a few good shots for them.

I love this pictures… she kept trying to blow the bubbles, but she wasn’t blowing hard enough for it to leave the wand so she would blow, and then stop and it wouldn’t ever go anywhere lol…

Wordless Wednesday

I don’t know if I’ve ever really been loved….

a lovely labor day

Our Labor Day weekend was lovely. It was N’s weekend with his dad, but he was nice enough to let him come home early to join us on the river for our little camping excursion. We camped out Saturday and Sunday nights. It rained on us periodically, but it was most definitely a good time. My sister and her boyfriend were there – I love them both so much. And a few of our mutual friends. And everyone had their kids, all boys. Those boys had a blast. I was too afraid to bring my nice camera, so I brought my other one (which is still nice, and expensive, and I would still cry if it got wet, but it’s not as nice as my newer one). I wish I’d taken more pictures. I love weekends like this one…

We even brought Lily… her first time on the river. She immediately owned the sandbar, and stole all of my sisters dogs bones he had buried, and guarded them with her life lol…..

i (heart) brilliant photography!

I just saw this post and was immediately floored by how easily it was to see a reflection of me / my life in one of these brilliant photos. I’m convinced, every girl can see herself in one of these fallen princesses… which one speaks to you? For me – it’s Cinderella… and it’s kind of crazy how I never related to her before laying eyes on this image.  (( Listen while you Look ))
