Geaux LSU
posted by: heathergirl7 @ 11:06 pmOk so obviously, I know that Bama won. It doesn’t mean I have to like it, though! What I do like, is that for the first time in a LONG time all three of us (my sisters and I) were able to spend time together, and if I must say so myself, we are quite a riot when we get together!
My sister, Donna, had a great LSU vs BAMA party that we went to. She’s all about Roll Tide, so we had lots of fun bantering back and forth over football and beer. And Aimee and I got to make us a Bama Sammich!
Oh, and some great food! What’s better than good company, beer, burgers and football? Gosh. I can’t think of a darn thing! (sorry, i took a bite before I realized “I should take a picture” – and I was only slightly inebriated at that point… and yes, that’s my very redneck beer coolie with the H on it, thank you very much.)
AND.. and, and, and… I was SO happy and excited that one of my bestest friends EVER ever EVER (Dennis) went with me. So, yeah, he happens to be my ex-boyfriend, and yes, it took us YEARS to get to where we are today, and yes, some of you may know and have a problem with this relationship. Some may even say he’s part of the reason for my divorce (we won’t even go there, because if you think that then clearly, you’re retarded). You see me caring, right? He knows me probably better than most people do, and the simple truth of the matter is we.love.each.other. We don’t have to be together to recognize that. We are better, especially right now, as friends. Maybe we always will be, and I’ll always be okay with that.
He’s so much fun, and to my sisters, he’s like a big brother – and he joins in on the picking back and forth and he gets it just as hard as we would dish it out to each other, and it’s so fun, and so funny. We just all get along so well. Sometimes. These are the times I treasure.
It’s been a long time coming. Now we’re all reunited. We still don’t all see eye to eye on certain issues, but we are learning to deal with that as adults, and agree to disagree.
We don’t have much sense when we’re together. But ya know what? We laugh until our stomachs hurt and we are about to wet our pants. We laugh out loud. We snort we laugh so hard. And we love each other. That’s evident. No difference of beliefs will ever, ever change that fact. I’m so happy to have my sisters back.

I love the pics of u and the girls! And that’s a really good one of u & D.
