whooping cracks

Before heading to N’s Kindergarten Christmas Program, N kept singing a lyric that we could not for the life of us figure out. Something about it sounded familiar, but the way he was saying it – more like a rap song – it was just unidentifiable.

We felt quite silly when we figured out it was Up On The Housetop, LoL… but just for humor’s sake, imagine in a rapper sort of style my son singing, over and over…

“Whoop that crack!”

LOL — the lyrics are:

Next comes the stocking of little Will Oh, just see what a glorious fill Here is a hammer and lots of tacks Also a ball and a whip that cracks Ho, ho ho! Who wouldn’t go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
